FALL RIVER--Wayne C. Bahr age 86, went home to the Lord on Sunday, February 19, 2017. He was born on October 3, 1930 in Milwaukee to Morris and Ruby (Hafenstein) Bahr. Wayne was a 1948 graduate of the Fall River High School. He was married to Jean Searvogel on July 15, 1961 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lost Lake. Wayne was a life-long Fall River area farmer. He will be remembered as a kind, hard-working, gentle, and loving man who had a smile for everyone and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Jean of Fall River; three sons Michael (Kristina) of Beaver Dam, Daniel (Lisa) of Columbus and David (Cindy) of Sun Prairie; one daughter, Barbara Corning of Fall River; four grandchildren Ashley, Krystal, Gabrielle and Kailey; six step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at ST. STEPHEN'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, Fall River. Rev. James Bolda officiated. Interment was in the Fall River Cemetery, Fall River, Wisconsin. Memorials may be made to St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church.
