RANDOLPH--Wilhelm J. "Wil" Rist age 17 passed away as the result of a tragic automobile accident on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. He was born on September 19, 2003 in Madison to Steven Rist and Jennifer (Hampton) Frashier. Wil was a junior at Columbus High School. He thoroughly enjoyed working at Golden Living Center in Randolph as a CNA with hopes of making a career in the medical field. Wil enjoyed playing football, baseball, golfing and listening to Metallica. He deeply loved his little sister, Ella and big sister Hailey. He will be forever missed. Survivors include his father Steven Rist of Columbus; his mother Jennifer and step-father Chris Frashier of Randolph; sister's Hailey Rist and Ella Frashier of Randolph; maternal grandparents Larry and Connie Hampton of Montfort and paternal grandparents Gary and Pat Parkhurst of Madison; grandparents Larry and Kay Frashier of Carmi, IL and Mike and Brenda Ryan of Cape Coral FL; great grandma Mary Hampton of North Andover, WI; Great Grandpa Dale Frankie Frashier of Carmi, IL; aunts Cheri Ford of Raleigh NC and Felicia (Kyle) Gundlach of Montfort; an uncle Dan Rist of Phoenix AZ; uncle Jackie (Jill) Puntney of Evansville, IN; an aunt Sandy (Mark) Sitzman of Evansville, IN; cousin Maci Stevens of Montfort; Sami Etienne, Jessie Rush, Logen, Hayden, Madelynn, Mason, Lilian Sitzman; Jaiden Puntney, Lucas Murray; Jessica and Logan Jesberger; Brandi and Michael Ford; Special GodParents Phillip Frye, and Karen Johnson; loving girlfriend Carlee Wilken of Columbus, WI; friend Robyn Gunderson of Columbus; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents; an uncle Darin Rush of Carmi, IL. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Jensen Funeral & Cremation, Columbus. A private family service will be held.
