Dad, we know the last two years must have been difficult for you. You went through so much to spend more time with us. You put us before your own pain so that we could continue to share so many special memories with you. You made sure to make it to Door County to watch your grandchildren play on the beach. You made sure to teach your grandchildren the proper way to cast. You sat in a cold hockey rink to cheer on your grandsons and attended your granddaughter's music concerts. We will miss your witty sense of humor and listening to you serenade us with Elvis tunes. For so many years you woke up early in the morning and worked hard every day so we were all taken care of. You put your body through a lot and set an example and work ethic that we could all follow. We want you to know that you were deeply loved by all of us and that even though God has taken you from us, we will remember you every day of our lives and we will cherish the memories of the time spent with you. Love, Your children.
